What do I actually get?

Understand your collection

Collection analytics and graphs on the Reports page, with price-source fallback, missing prices excluded, and valuation timestamp shown. Plus the full paginated mover list computed from the two newest price snapshots.

Market movement is descriptive only — not ROI, returns, predictions, or causality.

Keep up with market movers

A daily companion email about your cards — your movers, new rulings on cards you own, brew ideas from public decks sharing your cards, and news since the last edition. Links back into the app.

Sent daily after the day's prices and free newspaper are ready. No fixed clock-time guarantee; email content is per-card moves, never dollar totals.

Manage a bigger collection

Free fits 5,000 prints and 10 decks. Premium fits 100,000 prints and 100 decks per slot — room for a growing collection and more deck organization.

Higher limits apply to future imports. Rows skipped as over-limit are not stored — re-import them after upgrading.

How billing works

  • Monthly is a recurring subscription. Cancel in Settings or the LemonSqueezy portal; you keep Premium through the paid-through date, then it lapses.
  • Annual and Single month are one-time purchases (365 / 30 days). They extend from the later of now or your current expiry. Renew manually or upgrade anytime.
  • Checkout runs on LemonSqueezy's hosted page, which shows taxes and the final total. Each plan button only appears when its checkout link is configured for this environment — otherwise it reads “opening soon”.
  • Activation is via our billing webhook after payment. If you paid but Premium is not active, check Settings, confirm the purchase email matches your MTG Scout account, then contact support with your receipt — we can replay the checkout event from the LemonSqueezy dashboard. A successful charge does not by itself guarantee activation if member linkage fails.

Practical questions

What happens when I hit a collection or deck limit?
Import rows over the cap are reported as over-limit and not stored; sealed rows need Premium. Upgrade raises the cap for future imports — re-import anything skipped earlier. Existing stored cards and decks stay put.
What powers analytics, and how fresh is it?
Nightly collection snapshots plus the two newest daily price snapshots, with Bank of Canada FX for your currency. Cards without an eligible market price are excluded from totals; the page shows its valuation timestamp.
What happens when Premium expires?
You read as Free immediately at expiry (5,000 prints / 10 decks for new imports); the nightly sweep then flips the membership flags. Your stored data stays; over-cap additions wait until you reactivate or trim. Cancelled monthly plans keep access through the paid-through date first.
How do I manage or cancel?
From Settings. Monthly cancellation stops future charges; one-time plans simply run out. The Premium page shows your renew/lapse date when one is on file.
What if checkout or activation fails?
You stay on Free and can retry from this page. If LemonSqueezy charged you but Premium never activated, keep your receipt email and contact support — checkout events are logged and replayable, including email-mismatch and unknown-variant cases.
